The Spooner

The design of these balance trainers simulates board-sport moves similar to skateboarding and surfing, but doesn’t require the advanced skills. Students discover how to maneuver their center of gravity and proportion their weight as they enjoy a wide range of activity options on these boards.

Wide Range of Balance Activities

Mimicking the movements and feet positions of board sports, students can stand, sit, rock, spin, slide, tilt, flip, and wobble, all the while keeping emphasis on their form while balancing. The instability created by the wide, spoon-shaped board bottom makes any balance activity a challenge, resulting in an engaging workout while having fun!

Activities performed on The Spooner require balance, coordination, and weight distribution. Students also improve their core and leg strength while constantly readjusting their bodies to counteract the movement of this board.

Durable Design

Unbreakable, non-marring 3/8″ polyethylene plastic with nonskid foot strips allows for safe use both indoors and out. A non-marring bottom keeps gym floors safe and scuff-free. The boards are also lightweight and easy to stack for simple storage.

Boards are 11-1/2″W and come in 2 lengths for younger and older students. They are available in Rainbow Sets or individually. Colors vary on Individual boards.
