The players and the ball are always in motion during fast-paced games on Sabakiball. Players work in teams to advance the ball down the field and use it to knock over the opposing team’s BakiPin. They can hold the ball and run with it for up to 3 seconds before passing it to a teammate. Players need to pass it at least 3 times before taking aim at the pin. If the ball falls to the ground between passes, the team that recovers it needs to pass it at least 3 times again before throwing it at the pin. If the ball goes out of bounds, the goalie has 3 seconds to throw a new ball into play. Only the goalie is allowed in the goalie box in front of the pin. If a player runs through the goalie box, the ball is turned over to the other team. Teams earn a point each time they knock the pin over.
Lightweight 6″ dia ball has an inflatable rubber bladder and neoprene cover, keeping it soft and lightweight. The bright colors make it easy to spot the ball as it flies through the air. Foam BakiPins (22″H x 6″ sq) are covered in nylon and include a drawstring for easy carrying. They also feature a cloth sandbag bottom to keep the pins upright.
Both sets include 9 BakiBalls, 2 BakiPins, and 2 targets. The Starter Set features vinyl targets (48″L x 32″H) that are easy to hang on walls, while the Official Set includes durable indoor/outdoor plastic targets (48″L x 32″W x 32″H; 24 lb) that disassemble for easy transportation and compact storage.
