A specially-design grate bottom on these bases provides better grip on any surface, indoors or out. Extra thickness (almost an inch) enhances the stability and visibility of the bases, making them safer for use by base runners of all ages. Beveled edges decrease the chances of falls or twisted ankles and make for a smoother transition from the floor or ground to the base.

Designed for Durability

Heavy-duty virgin rubber resists wear and tear, making these bases ideal for institutional use. This material prevents bases from becoming brittle or damaged if they are left outside and exposed to the elements. Each base weighs more than five pounds, adding to its stability but still making the base light enough to easily carry.

Official size bases measure 15″, home plate is 17″, and the pitcher’s mound is 24″L. Each set includes 3 bases, 1 home plate, and 1 pitcher’s mound.
