Get the entire class involved taking aim at the other team’s beach balls while protecting their own—a perfect blend of attacking and defending! The included target games for Physical Education are perfect for any class size and range from whole-class activities to small group games.

High-Action Target Games

Keep players moving with games unlike anything others your students have ever played. Start by dividing the class into 6 equal teams and choose a color. Set up the court as a rectangle with 3 colors vs 3 colors (each team playing the team directly across from them). Place a ball on top of each ball holder. On the signal, offensive players throw a foam ball trying to knock the other team’s ball off the ball holder. Players score a point when they knock the ball off the holder. The first team to score 10 points or the team with the most points after a predetermined amount of time wins.

Another game involves players passing the large beach ball down the court while trying to dodge the foam balls thrown at them. You can also set up all tees and beach balls on one side of the play area as players on the other side line up and try to knock the balls off using foam balls.
